Glasshouse is a padel, wellness and social club planned for Port Chester, New York. This policy explains what information we collect through glasshouse.club, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
Who we are
“Glasshouse”, “we” and “us” mean Glasshouse Padel. You can reach us about anything in this policy at contact@glasshouse.club.
What we collect
What you give us. When you join the waitlist we ask for your first name, last name, email address and ZIP code, and how likely you are to join at the planned membership price. After you join, you can choose to tell us your padel level, when you would play and what interests you. Those extra questions are optional.
What is collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and the services we use may collect:
- Basic device and browser information, your IP address, the pages you view and how you arrived at the site.
- Campaign tags from the link you followed (for example, that you came from our Instagram). We store these in your browser and include them with your waitlist sign-up so we know which posts bring people to us.
- Cookies and similar technologies set by Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, described below.
How we use it
- To send you occasional updates about membership and our opening, and to invite you to become a founding member.
- To plan the club: understanding where interest comes from, how many people are likely to join, and what programming people want.
- To understand how the site and our Instagram and advertising perform, so we can improve them.
We will not send you marketing emails unrelated to Glasshouse, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Analytics and advertising
Google Analytics helps us understand how people use the site, for example which pages are visited and when someone joins the waitlist.
Meta Pixel and Conversions API. We use Meta’s tools to measure whether our Instagram and Facebook content and ads lead to waitlist sign-ups. When you join the waitlist, we tell Meta that a sign-up happened. To help Meta match the sign-up to an ad, we send your email address, name and ZIP code in a scrambled (hashed) form, together with your IP address and browser information. Meta uses this information under its own data policy.
Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and provides basic, privacy-focused visit statistics.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and the waitlist:
- Google, which stores waitlist responses (Google Forms and Sheets) and provides Google Analytics.
- Meta, for measuring our content and advertising, as described above.
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and relays the sign-up event to Meta.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices
- Emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us.
- Your information. Email contact@glasshouse.club to ask what we hold about you, or to correct or delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time.
- Cookies and ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, manage your ad preferences in your Meta account settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist information while we prepare to open and for as long as you remain interested in hearing from us. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we will remove it, except where we need to keep a record of your request.
Keeping it safe
We use reputable providers and limit access to the people who need it. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.
Children
The waitlist is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our practices change, and show the date of the latest version at the top.
